This kit is for the qualitative detection of myoglobin (Myo) in human serum, plasma, or whole blood, for clinical auxiliary diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Myo is oxygenated hemoglobin in the striated muscle that can be quickly released into the blood after myocardial injury. After acute myocardial infarction, Myo is immediately rapidly from the necrotic myocardium with high sensitivity. It usually begins to increase 1-2 hours after the onset of chest pain and peaks 4-8 hours after the start of acute myocardial infarction, so Myo is an early marker for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction.
